Our Mission
Our mission is derived from our belief that each client has
unique travel requirements. We therefore strive to add value to
all our clients' needs by providing them different options and
customizing travel plans to fit their expectations.
Our Business
We are an independent, family-owned travel agency catering
to the different needs of inbound and outbound travelers in the
Philippines. We provide ticketing services, arrange local and
foreign tours, book hotel and resort reservations, assist in
passport and visa applications, and help with transportation and
insurance requirements.
Although we already have standard packages for
frequently-visited destinations, we have almost always made
several changes to these packages to accommodate the
requirements of different travelers.
As part of adding value to our clients' needs, we provide
what we call IFT&T Traveler Notes, which gives some points to
remember when visiting a certain destination including Do's
and Don'ts, recommended eating places, and special sites to
visit. It is targeted mainly for travelers who are new to the place.

How We Started
It started with a road trip on New Year's
Day...
It was a road trip to Sagada, a quaint town
in the Cordillera mountains of northern
Philippines, famous for its crisp cold weather
and its cultural heritage. It was a family trip and
during the drive we were explaining to our
Australian relatives the political, religious, and
cultural elements that define the town and its
people. We felt like being travel guides during
the whole trip.
It was then that the idea of opening a travel
company dawned on us. It would be a great way
of sharing the knowledge we have of the
different places we have been to in the
Philippines. And so, Island Footprints Travel and
Tours was established in February 2009.
Although we are new in the travel business, we
are experienced travelers. Our family has been
to many of the major travel destinations in the
Philippines and abroad. We also have explored
islands and trails that are rarely seen in a
tourist map. We also maintain a collection of
travel stories from our friends and extended
family. They are what we call our 'travel
consultants'. They travel around the world as
part of their work and leisure activities and they
are the ones who enrich us more with what they
see and experience.
With this vast amount of traveling knowledge and
experience, we are able to share with our clients
what we believe is the best way to explore a
destination.
